Saltbush Social Enterprises is a not-for-profit organisation leading the way in providing responsive and outcome focused services particularly to disadvantaged and at-risk Indigenous people and their families.

Through our Supported Bail Accommodation program, our overarching objective is to provide secure and supportive 24/7 accommodation services in Alice Springs as an alternative to remanding a young person in custody.

We have an exciting role for an experienced and passionate Case Manager who is committed to providing support for at-risk young people, enabling them to meet their bail conditions and improve their prospects of avoiding detention.

The case worker position in Alice Springs is a relatively new which would suit a motivated experienced case worker looking to build and develop the role.

You will have a person-centred approach, focused on providing participants with opportunities to improve their wellbeing, living skills, education, and employability prospects.

As an outcome focussed ‘people person’, and with the support of our passionate Supported Bail Accommodation team, you will thrive in your ability to provide holistic, comprehensive case management services with a therapeutic foundation for our participants.

Ideally, you will have experience, understanding and success in working in a case management setting with disadvantaged, at-risk Indigenous youth and assisting them to overcome the challenges they face.

An ability to practice using a trauma informed and strengths-based approach will be vital to assisting young people in our program to make behavioural changes and plan for their future.

If you are progressive in your thinking, genuine and creative in your approaches and enjoy being challenged to think outside the box for the best outcomes, then you will be a great fit.
