We're on the search for an experienced and passionate Administration Officer to join our Connected Beginnings program in Shepparton, a collective impact project which will support school readiness among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children across the region.

Where you come in:

In this part-time fixed term position (19 hours per week through to end of June 2024), based in our Shepparton office, you'll provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Connected Beginnings Shepparton team to ensure they can deliver services to all members of community.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing support for staff and network meetings including development and distribution of agendas and minutes
  • Supporting staff with administrative and operational tasks (e.g. timesheets, system access, logging IT requests)
  • Organising contractors and quotes as required to meet office needs
  • Ensuring utilities, property management and fleet/vehicle invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Answering calls and queries in a professional manner

Does this sound like you?

You're an adaptable all-rounder, ideally with a background in reception or admin support and you're willing and able to learn new systems. Your organisational skills alongside your attention to detail will support the efficient and effective running of the office. You're personable and friendly, and you'll easily build strong positive relationships with all stakeholders and the community.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Rapport building and relationship building abilities
  • Typing and computer literacy skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics)
