Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton*, you'll be a core contributor to the delivery of projects from within the Save the Children Australia portfolio. The portfolio is central to driving strategic change and innovation. It incorporates a variety of small and large-scale projects delivering everything from system implementations and process improvement through to business model diversification and mergers and acquisitions. You will be part of our Strategy and Transformation team and report to our Product Owner - Tertile Portfolio.

You will make an impact by:

  • Leading the partnership with Shared Services leaders to discover, co-design and support the delivery of a transformation roadmap
  • Acting as a player coach by up skilling leaders and teams in Agile delivery including support in setting up and driving Agile ceremonies and building a high-performance culture
  • Participating and contributing to our Agile Community of Practice in the identification and development of light touch tools and resources
  • Selecting and supporting the use of Agile tools and resources appropriate for specific cross-departmental initiatives, supported by clear and concise communication and engagement with staff

You have a proven track record in delivering critical and complex projects with the ability to bring creative solutions and process improvements to the table. You are an adaptable, highly organised all-rounder, with a high level of attention to detail and a collaborative and can-do manner.

This role requires:

  • Experience working as a Project Manager and Scrum master
  • Demonstrated application of Agile project management disciplines
  • Proven ability to lead and support change management, with high levels of personal resilience
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and documentation skills

*While COVID-19 social distancing restrictions are in place, this role works remotely (i.e. from home or an alternative location). Once the pandemic restrictions are lifted, the role will be based in our office in Carlton.
