Where you come in

In these casual positions working across the Kilcoy area, you'll support early childhood development and school readiness skills, and will facilitate improved relationships between parents and children. Working across different sites as part of our mobile service, you'll work in a team to create an environment of trust and respect with families and children. You'll be part of our Mobile Play2Learn team and report to our Team Leader.

You will make an impact by:

  • Assisting to develop and deliver early learning programs
  • Working within a team to ensure programs are age and developmentally appropriate
  • Creating a welcoming and safe environment to encourage active participation
  • Growing an understanding of early learning amongst families and sharing your knowledge with community members

Your sensitivity and community knowledge will see you build strong connections with families from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. You're motivated, eager to learn and not afraid to jump in feet first to help make our programs successful.

This role requires:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children 0-5 and families in a group setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Current valid driver's licence
