Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton*, you will work on all IT related project activities with some support thrown in and provide timely and efficient technical skills for IT and Business Systems activities. You will be part of our ICT Service Delivery team and report to the ICT Service Delivery Manager, but you will be involved in project activity with multiple projects at any one time. This environment will provide opportunities for you to deliver technical expertise across a range of projects (solutions delivery, infrastructure, operations) with strong support from the Service Delivery Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Consulting with customers and teams to ensure the delivery of technology enabled solutions are highly effective, fit-for purpose and deliver to the needs of the organisation
  • Driving effective prioritisation by contributing technical expertise within projects to achieve minimum viable solutions to deliver maximum value to customers quickly
  • Engaging in creative problem solving with our customers and teams to achieve operational excellence in our complex environment
  • Having strong ticket management skills and knowledge of customer support service solutions to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Excelling at customer service, managing different client technology needs and leveraging customer insights/data to ensure all work puts our customers at the centre
  • Contributing to the development, review, configuration, and testing of IT infrastructure and related platforms
  • Thriving to deliver solutions within an enterprise architecture that has multiple technology applications at any one time
  • Assisting to deliver on our ITSM procedures, ensuring we are working towards exceeding our SLA guidelines

This role requires:

  • Significant operational IT support experience in networking communications (routing, switching, WIFI), software, system administration, security technology and standards
  • Dynamic and proactive application of technology solutions across projects and support
  • Extensive experience with in-depth technical skills and credibility in Operating Systems Administration including (Storage, Virtualisation, Networks and Databases)
  • Self-motivated and proactive in exploring alternative solutions for problem resolution, system install and upgrades
  • Experience working in Agile deliver for solutions, highly regarded
  • Microsoft certified professional and/or ITIL Foundation V3 certified, highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s or industry experience, highly regarded
