In this newly created role, be the subject matter expert for our primary learning management system, and play a key part in bridging the digital divide to accelerate technology supported education and training, bringing new opportunity to marginalised communities.

Inclusiv Education is no ordinary social enterprise.

We're transforming the lives of learners and marginalised communities by increasing access to quality education and training opportunity through Education Technology. As a social enterprise of Save the Children Australia (SCA), we leverage Save the Children's global reach and demonstrate an impact that belies our 3-year history. In this full-time, permanent position, you'll manage the Moodle Learning Management System, supporting the development of new features, providing technical support to both internal and external clients and recommending improvements and integrations. Working closely with the broader product team, you'll focus on ensuring that Moodle is optimised for end users. With flexibility to work from home or from our Melbourne or Adelaide offices*, you'll report to the Director EdTech Operations and Products.

You will make an impact by:

A skilled and flexible IT professional, you're particularly adept at explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience, and you have the ability to work confidently with people at all levels in technically challenging cross-cultural contexts.

This role requires:

  • In depth knowledge of administering and supporting Moodle and administering AWS, including experience developing plugins and integrations for Moodle
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using either a Scrum or Kanban approach to delivery
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to innovate solutions for a variety of eLearning technologies
  • Exceptional internal and external stakeholder engagement abilities, with highly developed verbal and written communication skills

Working at Inclusiv Education is more than just a job.

It's the feeling of knowing that your work is contributing to making the world a better place for those deprived of learning opportunities and working with others who feel the same. In addition to a connection to social causes, you'll benefit from:

  • Individual learning plans to assist in your career development
  • Internal employment and development opportunities
  • Friendly and flexible work environment
