Where you come in:

In this part time permanent position (30.4 hours per week, days dependent on preference), based in Hobart or Launceston, you'll work with the teams across Tasmania to strengthen and streamline key operational functions and processes. Reporting to the State Director, Tasmania, you'll work closely with Regional Managers, head office and centralised functional teams.

You will make an impact by:

  • Strengthening and streamlining key operational functions such as budgeting, implementation planning, contract compliance reporting and operational risk management
  • Supporting the development, implementation and review of the strategy and operating plan
  • Assisting in the development of proposals and budgets for Governments, Corporates and philanthropic donors
  • Leading and managing one administration team member
  • Providing ad hoc business development and key stakeholder engagement support

Does this sound like you?

You're a confident and adaptable all-rounder, ideally with a background in program delivery, operations or contract management. Your highly developed communication style and natural interpersonal skills give you the ability to develop effective strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. You're extremely organised, flexible and self-motivated, with a strong passion to see the team succeed.

This role requires:

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in a coordination role and managing stakeholder relationships across various locations
  • Demonstrated successful track record leading projects in complex working environments
  • Experience in managing budgets and internal and external reporting requirements
  • Ability to support business process improvement effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders
