Save the Children's global presence is huge and growing. We want to enhance our reputation to deliver high-quality programs to support the most vulnerable children in the Pacific and internationally. We will do this by working with our global colleagues and offices to ensure our programs are consistent, effective and achieve positive enduring impacts for children and their communities. We need you to join our Project and Awards team to coordinate international and Pacific awards and grants, working with Country Offices and implementing partners to provide programs that meet our high standards.

Where you come in:

We currently have two full-time permanent positions available, which can be based in any location within the Australia/Pacific time zone. In this role, you will support our Pacific and/or international programs by ensuring donor and award/grant information is captured and monitored. You will coordinate reporting to donors, ensure compliance requirements are met, and support Country Offices around the world. You will be part of our International Programs Department and report to our Senior Project and Award Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Ensuring the data in our Award Management System (AMS) is accurate and up to date
  • Supporting teams at all levels to understand and comply with donor requirements
  • Liaising effectively with Country Offices, Support Services Teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Analysing and reporting on performance, including working with auditors as needed
  • Monitoring and analysing project budgets and forecasts and supporting budget development
  • Supporting emergency responses and preparedness in the Pacific as required

This role requires:

  • A track record of experience with project and financial management of grant-funded programs
  • An ability to identify and manage organisational and operational risks
  • Highly developed organisational, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft suite of programs and databases
  • Experience working with AMS and/or in the international sector is desirable
