Executive Assistant to the CEO

Scalabrini Village is a not for profit residential aged care provider with a rich heritage spanning 50 years. We have a reputation for providing high quality care for people living with dementia and other complex care needs across 6 Residential Aged Care villages in NSW.  

We are currently looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer. You will be based at our Head Office in Chatswood, however the role requires travel and there is flexibility in location.

Your Role:

Supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our executive team. 

Key accountabilities will include providing confidential, accurate, efficient secretarial and office administration services to the Chief Executive Officer. You have a demonstrated ability to produce  high quality correspondence including drafting letters, report writing and developing presentations and spreadsheets. You will be responsible for creating and distributing meeting agendas, together with taking minutes as required. You will create, collate, distribute and maintain confidential filing for the CEO in addition to preforming general clerical duties. You will be responsible for organising and maintaining the CEO and executive diaries including organising travel arrangements, meetings and coordinating events.

Your Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing high level administrative support;
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong ability to deliver exemplary customer service;
  • Well developed organisational skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and present information in a meaningful manner;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; and
  • Knowledge and understanding of safe work practices and Work Health and Safety. 

Your Qualification:

  • A business qualification with a secretarial focus. 

Desirable:

  • Experience in aged care.
