About The Role

Scope has an exciting and unique 12 Month opportunity (with possibility to extend) for a Participant Liaison. This position will begin in early Feb 2022.

Reporting to the Participant Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the portfolio of participants including all aspects of their NDIS service funding with a large focus on the SIL and STAA. An important part of your role will be to develop a collaborative working relationship with the customer groups & and their support networks.

This is a state-wide role with flexibility to work anywhere from Victoria. There will be an element of travel involved to meet with the participants & their support network and staffing groups.

The contract title for this role will be Participant Liaison. You will be responsible for the management of the portfolio of participants including all aspects of their NDIS service funding within SIL.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and a working knowledge in creating and implementing Participant Plans within a disability framework with NDIS scheme funding experience.
  • Proven track record in strategically developing strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our Participants.
  • Experience in micro and mezzo-level practice with local communities and individuals with disabilities in support coordination and/or provision of other client services in the Community Services sector.
  • Experience in providing support and education to participants using demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS (ex. SIL) and its funding streams and levels.
  • A person-centred, empowerment approach in the intricate planning of support services when working with clients and their family members/friends within the community.
  • Positive relationship building skills with clients, family/friends, and other staffing groups (ex. NDIS planners, Support Coordinators, Allied Health professionals) while liaising and coordinating NDIS services and funding.
  • Ability to strategies and identify meaningful solutions during conflict resolution.
