About The Role

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our dynamic and highly engaged team. You will provide marketing and communications support to Scope’s National Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC) and support community awareness of CIRC projects in line with Scope’s overall brand.  

You will work closely with the National Business Development Manager and be the conduit between Scopes Product Brand and Marketing team and CIRC’s Teams. 

You will work with the managers of the innovative and meaningful service lines for individuals, service providers, businesses and organisations. These services will include but are not limited to Disability Awareness, Communication Access and accreditation, document translation, non electronic communication aids, Positive Behaviour Support Services and Key Word Sign 

This is an exciting role filled with growth opportunities, you will be an integral part of the continued growth in our national expansion.

Your responsibilities will see you:

  • Review, update and achieve the key deliverables identified for the role within the CIRC Marketing Plan and operationalise identified strategies of the CIRC National Business Plan to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to undertake external market and competitor analysis and develop a customer segmentation approach to attract customer and partner opportunities, positioning CIRC services for financial viability and achievement of growth targets
  • Prepare a wide range of innovative marketing, communications and media collateral for diverse audiences (Partners, Corporate, Government, Disability Support and Aged Care service providers, peak bodies and associations), across digital and various channels
  • Work and collaborate with a highly committed and creative team where your role will support events and the production of content in various formats to grow CIRC’s brand and reputation nationally and target B2B and B2C. These can include but are not limited to reports, webinars, websites, videos, social media channels, eDM, blogs and other digital content and marketing collateral.

About You

  • You have a depth of demonstrated experience in the operationalisation of marketing/business plan strategies
  • A strategic thinker, creative with the ability to problem solve, combined with outstanding organisation skills, strong attention to detail and planning
  • Experienced in the production of content, collateral and social media management for both B2B and B2C markets
  • Possess strong computer literacy skills including CRM (Salesforce) and database management
  • You are able to build and manage relationships, collaborate and work within a team environment
  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar
  • Commitment to person centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation with experience working with or supporting people with a disability or in NFP organisations (desirable)
  • You are able to work flexibly, independently and use initiative.

Position Description

Please note, the successful applicant will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries will also be required.
