Utilise your leadership skills and data and evaluation expertise in a health focused role and contribute to the development and implementation of SEMPHN monitoring and evaluation framework.
The Insight and Evaluation Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, specialist data insights and evaluation services to inform and improve the design and delivery of SEMPHN commissioned services; support SEMPHN's strategic direction; and help communicate the outcomes and value of the services provided to the community and our stakeholders.
You will work closely with the program areas to draft commissioned service work and monitoring plans, conduct data driven performance monitoring and reporting for individual providers, and conduct program evaluations and reviews on a regular and ad-hoc basis. You will use your experience in evaluation and research methods, as well as data analysis skill, to interpret information accurately and to present information to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will need to manage/lead a small evaluation team to support the evaluation needs across SEMPHN.
To be successful in this position you must have relevant tertiary qualification in health economics, public health, evaluation or public/health sector management (ideally Masters or PhD qualification).
You must also have experience in conducting reviews and evaluations of health-related projects (preferably in the Primary Health Sector), experience leading/managing a small team, as well as experience in the collection, collation and analysis of research and evaluation data and the preparation of comprehensive reports with recommendations.
Strong data analysis skills with demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as proficiency in the use of data collection software and data analysis tools are also a requirement.
Experience in cost-effectiveness analysis and health needs assessments is an advantage.
