SensesWA is a leading not-for-profit organisation with over 125 years’ history in providing disability services in Western Australia. Our purpose is to build capacity by providing comprehensive services, specialising in sensory loss, positive behaviour support and children’s therapies.

At SensesWA, we focus on recruiting the right people and offering targeted training so we can seamlessly match a person with a disability with the right support worker to engage in new experiences, establish community connections, develop independent living skills and live a fulfilling life.

We are currently seeking active, passionate and reliable support workers for the Perth Metro South West regions (Baldavis/Como) to provide community access supports to individual clients.

Essential Criteria:

  • Possess a high level of trust, honesty and integrity and be able to maintain professional relationships;
  • An ability and willingness to participate and support people in a range of social and leisure activities;
  • Be computer and mobile phone savvy in order to access work emails and web based applications such as rosters, case notes and incident reports;
  • Current ‘Provide First Aid’ certificate (with at least 1 year validity remaining);
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain);
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination;
  • Current WA Working With Children's Check; and
  • Current Australian Driver’s License and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in the disability sector;
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability.
