About the role

You are an integral part in the successful implementation of the FIFO project, supported by the Education and Development and Clinical Service Teams you will help to enable the delivery of a holistic sexual health service which includes health promotion, testing and treatment, and workforce development delivered through partnerships with the resources sector.

Your Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience

  • Experience in sexual health/health promotion/education.
  • Previous experience in the delivery of health promotion services or demonstrated knowledge of the requirements for implementation of these programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate community-based health promotion activities.
  • Experience developing and delivering education workshops/short courses.
  • Experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement activities, preferably with community and/or health organisations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current health promotion theory, emerging issues and trends, and evidenced based practice.

Your qualifications and/or other requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in education, health, community development, human services or other relevant field and/or extensive relevant experience.
  • A National Police Clearance no older than 6 months from date of issue.
  • Current certificate of immunisation for COVID-19
  • Current certificate of immunisation and or evidence of immunity for (Hepatitis B, Influenza, Pertussis, Measles Mumps and Rubella, Varicella).
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
