The opportunity

Silver Chain has a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Remote Area Nurse (PRAN) to join our Mingenew clinic, WA. The role is offered as a 2 week on 2 week off position.

 Key responsibilities

You will utilise your previous PRAN experience to deliver emergency, routine and non-emergency Care and clinical assessments with a Primary Care focus.

You will have well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills along with post registration experience in a Remote Nursing and Community Health setting, you will be required to work between the hours of Monday-Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm.

 About you

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered  Nurse with no restrictions
• Advanced Clinical assessment skills
• Experience in Emergency Nursing preferred
• The ability to plan and implement holistic  care for clients, family and community
• Have sound knowledge of the principles of primary health care delivery
• 5 Years Post Grad Experience is essential
• Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
• Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
• A current Australian driver’s licence
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
