The Skin Health Institute is a not-for-profit Centre of Excellence in Dermatology. We are the go-to service for dermatology treatment, education and research, providing medical and surgical services to patients in a stand-alone Day Procedure Centre.

We run 24 sub-specialty Clinics, undertake clinical trials and research, and provide world-class education to local, national and international audiences.

We have a multi-disciplinary team of medical, nursing and allied health staff working together to deliver the highest quality support and care to our patients.

THE ROLE

The Partnerships and Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day coordination and administration of the Skin Health Institutes partnerships and sponsored education events. A particular focus of this role will be engaging internal and external stakeholders, the collection and collation of information and deliverables for SHI events, acquittals and reports, facilitating relationships between partners and SHI and planning/coordinating and assisting in the running of meetings and events.

Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Experience/Qualifications - Essential

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in physical and online event management and/or partnership/sponsor coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills and professional communication – in person, as well as via phone and email
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and flexible approach to working with people and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Resilience, flexibility and a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities working alone or within a team
  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise at times conflicting priorities, who works autonomously when appropriate, consults appropriately and responds to direction in a fast-paced environment.

Experience/Qualifications - Desirable

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical companies
  • Experience facilitating meetings and events via zoom
  • Experience using Salesforce .
