Red Nose
  • Key new role helping to shape the future of Red Nose's education program
  • High profile national organisation
  • Flexible, part-time role

About Red Nose

Red Nose is a national charity working to save little lives through research and education, and support families whose baby or young child has died.

Through our national safe sleeping and safer pregnancy education and advocacy programs, we work to actively reduce the incidence of preventable stillbirths and sudden infant deaths by giving parents, carers and health professionals the knowledge and skills to reduce their risks.

Since our ‘back to sleep’ program was first introduced in 1988, we have helped reduce SIDS in Australia by 85% - saving over 11,000 babies' lives and counting.

About the role

At Red Nose, we pride ourselves on being a learning organisation, working hard to ensure that our staff and volunteers have access to the best available evidence-based information and resources upon which to train and educate new parents, early childhood educators, and health professionals.

Our education program has grown organically over time and we now wish to establish a strategy for moving forward, ensuring that our education programs deliver behaviour change and are based on adult learning principles.

The L&D Specialist is a new role within our Education & Advocacy Team and will be responsible for helping to drive this new strategy, developing training packages, and furthering our commitment to online learning and alternative platforms for learning opportunities.
