Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

This position involves cleaning the hospital, moving patients and equipment from one area to another as well as collecting and disposing of waste. Each day will be different depending on how busy the Hospital is, you will need to learn different cleaning/portering roles, work alone and within a team and be flexible in changing work practices and/or location as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, read, speak and understand what is required of you.
• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without being supervised.
• Previous cleaning experience, including using cleaning machinery like floor polishers, or demonstrated ability to perform in the role.
