Where you will be based

This position will be based at Croydon Health Centre or Forest Lodge Community Health Centre. 

About the Opportunity

In this role, you are responsible for providing high quality Speech Pathology service to patients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This will involve the assessment, treatment and planning of services for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders. Clinical cover may be required at times for staff within the department as directed by the Head of Department.

The Ideal Candidate is someone who has:

  • A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology that provides eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Completed a Speech Pathology course in the calendar year prior to commencement of New Graduate role in the following calendar year, with evidence of excellent academic performance.
  • Knowledge, skills and undergraduate clinical experiences in Speech Pathology practice and the provision of services to paediatric feeding and communication disorders.
