About the Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership and team management within the Social Work Department The position will also support the mentoring and development of staff and carries a clinical caseload.

The Ideal Candidate is someone who has...

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Applicant must have at least 7 years of clinical experience since graduation.
  • Recent employment within a hospital or health setting.
  • The ability to conduct complex psychosocial assessments for inpatients and some outpatients, the team leader carries a clinical caseload.
  • Recent experience in leadership, management, and supervision of Social Work staff.
  • The willingness to participate in the After-Hours roster and present to the Hospital within an hour of being called.
