Our organisation specialises in providing services such as settlement engagement and transition support, social support groups, CVS volunteers, quality Aged Care and Disability in the Eastern Suburbs, North Sydney, Sydney City and Inner West areas.

About the role

Operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for providing support to The Brokerage and Rostering Officer by fulfilling all the rostering requirements and the provision of administrative assistance. This position is a casual role and will be based in our head office in Daceyville. The Rostering Assistant will work closely with the Aged Care Manager, HCP Case Managers and Financial team.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to all necessary tasks to organise weekly roster
  • Respond to changes in client service requirements and communicate to the team
  • Day to day rescheduling to cover unplanned changes
  • Actively find solutions to scheduling complexities in conjunction with the team
  • Check care workers timesheets, mileage and rosters
  • Input and update information in the systems
  • Data entry and support preparing payroll

Skills

  • Attention to details and ability to take the initiative
  • Be comfortable working in a high-paced environment
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Well-developed verbal, written and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills

Essential

  • A current police check clearance certificate
  • Unrestricted working rights to work in Australia

Desirable

  • Ability to speak more than one language
