This pivotal role for our NT Office, will divide time between Programs Coordinator responsibilities, where you will help manage and deliver one of our most valuable programs – Learning for Life, and Office Coordinator, where you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting activities in our NT Office.

As Program Coordinator, you will be involved in planning and implementing The Smith Family suite of Learning for Life programs within the community, helping to facilitate successful delivery of the programs.

A day in the life of a Programs Coordinator might look like this:

  • Developing and maintaining Partner School relationships and monitoring progress, planning and implementation, and feedback on programs and activities;
  • Continually monitoring program delivery and ensuring the database has accurate and up to date information;
  • Advocating for and answering enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs;
  • Meeting with team members to collaborate on potential improvements that can be made to the program;
  • Working with community leaders to identify partnership opportunities.

It takes a special kind of person to be one of our Programs Coordinators. Successful candidates will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs / projects;
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships and working as part of a collaborative team;
  • Demonstrated experience in administration;
  • A current driver’s licence;
  • A high level of interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraint.

As Office Coordinator, will be responsible for the following:

  • Accounts processing and data entry in accordance with TSF audit requirements.
  • Procurement of office supplies
  • Manage contract services such as cleaning
  • Assist the delivery and administration of appropriate programs either place-based or from the Learning for Life suite in partner schools
  • Collation of data and data entry of scholarships and programs
  • Assist in event management and logistics around NT Office events and activities
