The Smith Family is an independent children's charity helping Australian children living in disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. The Program Analytics & Reporting Manager manages the data and insights to inform The Smith Family’s program policy and practice, support quality program implementation so that we can make effective, evidence based business decisions.

A day in the life of the Program Analytics & Reporting Manager might look like this, but really every day will be different:

  • Data stewardship: management and oversight of an organisation's data assets to help provide business users with high-quality data that is easily accessible in a consistent manner.
  • Lead the development and ongoing delivery of consistent, accurate and timely program reporting in accordance with the Policy & Programs Reporting Schedule.
  • Deliver analysis and insights to support The Smith Family / Policy & Programs strategies and evidence based decision making
  • Allocate work across the team to ensure all timelines and deliverables are met
  • Create and/or advocate for innovative reporting solutions using available data tools to enable Policy & Program and regional Learning for Life teams greater access to meaningful data

  • Tertiary level qualification
  • Team Management skills
  • Microsoft suite of programs (including CRM) at an intermediate level
  • Participating in collective decision making
