As we continue celebrating our Centenary, we’re currently seeking a Programs Coordinator to join our family.
The Programs Coordinator helps manage and deliver one of our most valuable programs – Learning for Life. The role involves planning and implementing The Smith Family suite of Learning for Life programs within the Rockhampton community. You will maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families in the program, partner schools, community groups and volunteers. You will also be responsible for reporting and tracking the progress of the programs, including resources and budgets. You will need to be able to help enable successful delivery of the programs, including supporting the Family Partnerships Coordinators with recruitment to the Scholarships program.
A day in the life of a Programs Coordinator might look like this, but really every day will be different:
It takes a special kind of person to be one of our Programs Coordinators. You need to genuinely care about supporting the educational outcomes of young people. You should be able to develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools and families in sometimes trying circumstances. You need to have relevant experience in dealing with a large number of program-related enquiries, excellent time-management skills and the ability to maintain accurate data is essential. Most of all, you are someone who is passionate about helping some of the most disadvantaged families in our society.
The Smith Family has employees at the centre of its values and operations. We nurture a supportive and inclusive culture that enables people to achieve personal and professional goals, through collaboration and innovation. With a proven work-life balance, wellbeing and health are our top priorities. Enjoy many other benefits, such as tax concessions and flexible working arrangements.
