You will be the driving force behind a transformative movement for human rights and press freedom. In this dynamic role, the General Manager will lead the charge in shaping The Information Rights Project’s strategic direction, fuelling growth and amplifying impact on a global scale.
The Information Rights Project’s (IRP) is a human rights charity dedicated to protecting and advocating for the rights to information and freedom of expression. Initially focused on supporting Australian journalist Julian Assange, the IRP now has a broader mission to defend and promote the rights of all Australians to access and share information without fear of reprisal.
As a strategic leader, with the power to inspire a passionate team, forge powerful partnerships and champion the rights of those who dare to speak truth to power, the General Manager will be at the forefront working towards a growth strategy while promoting collaboration, courage, support and innovation.
