headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace has 108 centres across Australia in metropolitan, regional and remote areas, as well as online and phone support services through eheadspace.

Sonder is the lead agency for headspace Adelaide, Edinburgh North, Marion and Onkaparinga.

Position:

Community Engagement Officer

Working Location: Position located at our headspace Adelaide office

Status: Part-time (0.4 FTE), fixed-term position

Thank you for your interest in applying for the position of Community Engagement Officer.

The Community Engagement Officer will work as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team to plan, organise and implement centre engagement activities for headspace Adelaide. The Community Engagement Officer will support the services through community engagement and participation activities and develop resources that supports enhancement of mental health literacy and reduces stigma related to mental illness in the wider community.

This role will also have responsibility for volunteer groups and committees including the headspace Adelaide Youth Reference Group, Talkin’ About Your headspace Youth Ambassadors and Family and Friends Focus Groups.
