Learn about the position:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary AOD team to deliver focused evidence based treatment options to individuals experiencing substance dependence wishing to undergo in-home withdrawal. This position is based at our Sonder Edinburgh North sites and is fixed term with the likelihood of extension.

Reporting directly to the AOD Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and support program staff in delivery of in-home withdrawal treatment
  • Conduct comprehensive AOD, safety, risk assessments, treatment planning and exit planning
  • The coordination of clients In-Home Withdrawal across the full spectrum of care
  • The development and engagement of internal and external stakeholders in the coordination of in-home withdrawal treatment

Experience requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of AOD or comorbidity service delivery
  • A minimum 3 years relevant professional development or supervision
  • Accreditation and or membership to associated professional body

Qualification requirements:

  • Allied Health Qualification ie. Social Work, or Occupational Therapy
  • OR relevant Undergraduate tertiary qualification ie. psychology and experience in the AOD sector
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Child Related Employment Screening/ Working with Children Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
