about the role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary and growing mental health team to play a crucial role in the delivery of family focused psychological therapy with in Sonder’s Mental Health & AOD portfolio.

Key attributes of the successful candidate are experience working with children affected by mild to moderate mental health issues and the ability to provide focused psychological interventions and evidence based treatment to children who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties (such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders, neurodevelopment disorders and/or behaviour disorders) and their caregivers.

This role works alongside a large team of accredited mental health social workers and clinical provisional, generalist and senior psychologists delivering clinical services across the life span to children aged 5-12, young people 14 and over, Adults and Perinatal clients.

Current and full registration with the appropriate registration authority (AASW or AHPRA) or willingness and eligibility to obtain registration is a must.
