The opportunity

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Support Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for members who need help. You will be required to work a variety of shifts on a rotating 24/7 roster. Rosters are projected well in advance to allow personal planning and flexibility.

Your day to day activities:

  • Coordinate a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency requests under the guidance of our Duty Operations Managers;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the member; and
  • Provide input into operational processes and functionality.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is passionate, empathetic, and takes pride in their ability to assess a critical situation and determine or recommend, the next steps. Above all else, you - the ideal candidate - will embody the Sonder values and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

You will have;

  • Experience working in a complex high pressure environment, operations or inbound call centre is desirable.
  • Superior English communication skills - fluency in other languages is helpful but not required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Please note; due to the nature of our industry, all successful candidates will be required to provide a National Police Check and a Working With Children Check prior to commencing in this role.
