Spring Bay Mill is a sustainable, state-of-the-art events venue in Triabunna on the east coast of lutruwita/Tasmania. Once home to the world’s largest wood chip mill, this 43-hectare waterfront site is now managed by a bunch of provocateurs intent on charting a sustainable path. We’ve restored rusting industrial buildings into unique spaces to house events: intimate or spectacular. We’re regenerating the natural landscape and growing wholesome, healthy food. All for the purpose of reviving this once destructive site through the restorative powers of nature. And hopefully changing the world a little as we go.
As part of the bold vision to develop this asset for Tasmanian tourism, we are growing our team to include three new apprentice/trainee roles enrolled in certificate courses of study. Learn hands-on in the operations of a growing tourism and events business, supported by a growing professional team.
To work on horticulture and landscape projects as directed by the Landscaping Manager. Planting, propagation and care of plants. Landscape construction and maintenance and working on various revegetation projects at a large multipurpose events site, in a stunning East Coast location.
An amazing opportunity to gain a hands-on horticultural learning experience across diverse areas of horticulture, in an ethically minded and values based business.
