About the Program

The Fundraising unit aims to diversify and grow SSI's revenue streams to enable the sustainability and growth of SSI's value-added programs for refugees and asylum seekers. In particular; community engagement programs, scholarships, social enterprises, small business start-ups initiative and sponsorship for events.

About You

  • Grow existing and new corporate partnerships to create shared value

Reporting to the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager, The Corporate Partnerships Manager will form a critical component of the Fundraising Unit, working in collaboration with other program areas. You will own and implement a corporate fundraising plan. You will develop strategically aligned corporate partnerships including corporate foundations to provide funding, as well as in-kind support, and bespoke projects that deliver client outcomes.

The role will manage and grow a strategic corporate portfolio across NSW, VIC, and QLD, with the goal of developing deeper, innovative collaborations with existing partners as well as identifying and acquiring new partners.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 6 years experience in a professional capacity with at least 2 years in a corporate partnerships or business development role, either working within or with the NFP sector
  • Proven experience in and managing all aspects of corporate engagement from prospecting to procurement and growth.
  • High level communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and engage with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Track record of solid financial management and budgeting experience with demonstrable success in achieving revenue targets.
  • Tertiary qualification. Preferably in Fundraising, Marketing or Business
