Ignite Small Business Start-ups was established as a small-scale program in 2013 to support refugees and asylum seekers, establish businesses quickly and legally in Australia. Ignite has worked with over 1300 clients, helped start more than 300 small businesses and has spent more than 25000 hours doing facilitation and volunteer work to support start-ups.

Ignite® acts as a guiding light and a crucial support system for many vulnerable small business owners. Ignite®'s services are vital, now more than ever, to ensure meaningful social and economic participation for some of Australia's most marginalised communities. IGNITE's impact and reach has now extended into Queensland, regional NSW, Victoria and since 2019 in Vancouver, Canada.
You will work closely with the Ignite operational team managing the day-to-day operations of this growing social enterprise to ensure that SSI strategic outcomes are met. Settlement Services International (SSI Group) is a community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential. Taking an integrated approach how everyone can thrive within the community in which they live and the wider Australian society, we support children, young people and families; people living with disability; and asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. Our programs include facilitating employment, multicultural foster care, creating community engagement, advocacy, and influencing government and international affairs and provide though leadership within our sector nationally and globally. Access based in QLD joined the SSI Group in 2018.

All employees will undergo a National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check as a condition of employment.
