  • Salary $59,722 plus super pro rata

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will answer calls and provide personal service to our customers, including tailored support to assist more than 9500 Victorians who, due to disability, illness or injury and are unable to manage their financial and legal affairs and have been appointed to us to assist them by VCAT.

As a result of recently announced government funding and as part of our exciting new changes to our service delivery model, we have new opportunities to be a part of our busy Contact Centre located in the heart of Bendigo.

Working in a large team, you will have the support of hands-on leaders and colleagues to provide superior customer service in this front-line rewarding role.

DUTIES

  • Effectively managing in-bound calls from a unique client base
  • Handling enquires around personal financial circumstances
  • Approving financial transactions
  • Resolving enquires
  • Maintaining and updating the client database
  • Providing exceptional customer service

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a busy customer service and team-based environment
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Computer literacy with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm and a high level of accuracy

Experience within a contact centre environment and/or working with clients with additional needs will be highly regarded.
