STTARS is a non-government, not for profit organisation who have been operating in South Australia since 1991. STTARS has no political or religious affiliations.

STTARS provides counselling and support services to people from refugee and migrant backgrounds who have experienced torture or been traumatised as a result of persecution, violence, war or unlawful imprisonment prior to arrival in Australia.

We are currently seeking a casual Auxiliary Administrative Assistant and would like to fill the position as soon as possible.

Our Administration Assistants provide valuable assistance across our teams to ensure that STTARS operates effectively and efficiently. Administrative and practical support will include tasks such as providing reception duties, meeting and greeting visitors ensuring that everyone feels welcome at STTARS, answering phones, managing calendars, managing interpreter bookings, program data entry, distributing mail, maintaining facilities, and being the first port of call for any public enquiries for information.

LOCATION:

STTARS is located in the Adelaide CBD.

SALARY:

Salary is based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) 2010 - Level 2/3.
