These include soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria, which provides a range of services and programs for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and disadvantage. This includes crisis accommodation, drug and alcohol dependency programs, and housing.

About the Role

As the Recruitment Administrator, you will promote and drive a high-volume recruitment process across the organisation. In this role you will:

  • Coordinate with the hiring managers and other stakeholders to identify hiring needs;
  • Conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews, create contracts and offer letters, manage pre-employment checks and manage new hire documentation;
  • Create and post job advertisements;
  • Get involved with recruitment projects, assist with process documentation, and help identify areas of improvement.

A Little Bit About You

You are a highly skilled recruitment coordinator or adviser who has a background in managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment. You have a focus on delivering quality candidate and hiring manager experience and an interest in assisting in continual process improvement. A self-starter with a willingness to learn will be highly regarded.

More specifically you will have:

  • 1-2 years experience as a recruiter or recruiter coordinator (desirable);
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a dynamic and high-volume workload;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good relationships with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;
  • Strong candidate care and customer service orientation;
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
