Your New Role

As our Team Leader, Learning, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of learning across our organisation. You will lead your team of 3 to support culture, learning and growth at Vinnies.

You will be accountable for:

  • Collaboratively delivering quality learning initiatives that meet legislative and other compliance requirements.
  • Delivering learning initiatives that align with the organisation's capability framework and support talent development and succession planning.
  • Consultatively develop and implement learning plans that create and enable a constructive culture of learning, whilst embedding 70:20:10 learning.
  • Using data and insights to create solutions that build capability and performance.
  • Ensuring effective learning outcomes across the employee life cycle and creating opportunities for talent development.
  • Optimising learning spend and supporting learning aligned with organisational strategies and plans.
  • Supporting development and implementation of organisational development and change plans.
  • Enabling a diverse and inclusive workforce through impactful learning initiatives
  • Through leadership development initiatives, data analysis and insights, and close collaboration across People and Culture, supporting attraction and retention of talented and diverse employees.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in human resource management, organisational development or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a learning and development
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including in instructional design to deliver measurable learning outcomes.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders from across a diverse workforce delivering a variety of services.
