What we do

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a leading provider of community support services, whose key mission is to shape a more just and compassionate society.

Your new role:

Work full-time with the retail team at Vinnies Sutherland 2232 where customers find wonderful treasure trove of vintage collectibles. If you love all things retro & vintage, this one's for you!

You will undertake a variety of tasks that will develop you into an all-rounder Retail Sales Assistant and contribute to the store's performance.

A forklift licence is required for this role.

The Sales Assistant will:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with Vinnies policies and procedures
  • Replenish stock on the sales floor
  • Use your creative flair in assisting with visual merchandising
  • Sort and price items according to Vinnies pricing guidelines
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets of the store

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work on roster including weekends
  • Flexibility to work in other locations within the Sutherland Shire if required
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Energetic drive to support the team in achieving sales targets
  • Forklift licence
