Your new role

Based in Dubbo Distribution Centre, the Sorting Area Supervisor will manage sorting and pricing of goods for distribution to Vinnies retail stores. This is a permanent, part-time role 25 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday.

Key part of your role will be ensuring we provide excellent customer service, visual merchandising and ensuring level of stock is maintained.

Your keen eye for fashion and adaptability will see you succeed.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will:

  • Supervise, train, coach, and guide team members in the sorting area
  • Oversee sorting, pricing, and storage of donations
  • Manage customer orders
  • In conjunction with the Driver, plan and coordinate the delivery of stock to Vinnies retail stores.
  • Ensure the good condition of sorting equipment
  • Manage rosters, identify and address WHS issues

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in supervising sorting activities
  • Experience in fashion retail/stock management highly regarded
  • Proven skills and experience in coaching, motivating, and leading
  • A good eye for quality clothing brands
  • Good time management skills
  • Proven understanding of Work Health and Safety standards and practices
