The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is a permanent, full-time role that will supervise the warehouse support team at our Vinnies REDI.EReturn & Earn depot in Dubbo where recyclable drink containers are counted and sorted onsite using specialised equipment.

You will oversee the entire processing operations including collection, sorting, storage, and transportation of recyclable drink containers. Your strong leadership qualities will ensure that the team is able to seamlessly perform various processing activities and achieve target goals.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the warehouse team members - coach, train/develop and motivate.
  • Ensure team is able to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Coordinate bulk bin collections by service partner; oversee disposal of waste items as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain reporting metrics; utilise data to monitor team performance and develop improvements.
  • Ensure work health and safety procedures and practices are complied with by staff members and service partners.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with service/commercial partners.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills as Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Experience in performance development, negotiation and conflict management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a good focus in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety procedures in a warehousing environment.
  • Proficient knowledge in using MS Office Suite and warehouse Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
