About the Role

Unisson is currently looking for a highly experienced Corporate Communications Manager to join our team. The role is based at our Pymble office, however, flexible work arrangements and working from home options are available.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Engagement, your focus is to develop, implement, and lead the communication strategy to engage, inform and inspire the Unisson team.

As a team of one, you're helping to build and establish a new function within the business. You'll be responsible for the creation and implementation of clear communications to bring to life Unisson's vision, values and strategy through innovative, transformative and emotionally engaging communication.

Your Role Requirements

  • Plan and deliver corporate communication campaigns and stakeholder engagement strategies, driving & influencing behaviour across Unisson.
  • Develop and implement targeted communication strategy and tactics.
  • Build strong working relationships to identify compelling stories.
  • Produce and edit content using various media (social, video, storytelling) for key internal communication channels.
  • Lead the implementation and management of internal communication platforms. (new & existing)
  • Support and collaborate with internal teams as their Communications Partner.
  • Produce and maintain relevant communication material and publications. (Annual Report, Strategic Plan, etc)
  • Address media enquiries and support the Executive Team with key messages and responses.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of our corporate communications.
  • Efficiently and cost effectively manage relevant agencies and related suppliers.

Your Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, or journalism
  • Corporate Affairs and internal communications experience
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • A creative approach, strong interview skills and ability to "see the story" and remain true to the brand.
  • Experience and understanding in a range of communications channels and approaches to best engage and benefit our target audiences.
  • An ability to create and integrate content across various channels such as web, social, internal, print and video.
  • The ability to influence and build confidence with senior leaders

Additional Skills

  • Experience using Adobe suite for content creation (Premier Pro)
  • Experience using Facebook Workplace and SharePoint is desirable
  • A flair for analytics and reporting
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Influencing and advocacy skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A team player
