What's the role about?

Reporting to the CFO, we are looking for an experienced, proactive and hands-on manager to join our great team at Unisson. This role is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, maximising cash inflow, overseeing billing and revenue, collecting overdue amounts, and following up accounts to minimise Days Sales Outstanding and bad debts loss.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support AR Team providing guidance and assistance on queries, and ensure all customer account inquiries are handled by promptly and professionally
  • Actively perform debt collection with AR team members and oversee progress, as well as minimise bad debts
  • Identify development and capability needs to ensure ongoing improvements to the AR team, including education & training
  • Build solid relationships across Finance Team, internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate tasks for staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient process that reduces the number of cases which are overlooked.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Tertiary qualification in business or accounting
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • NDIS knowledge highly regarded but not essential
  • Proven work experience as a Credit/Collection Manager
