What's the role about?

We are looking for a strategic, proactive and motivated person to join our leadership team, responsible for managing a number of Shared Living houses, 5 Team Leaders, and a team of support workers, in the Hornsby Region.

This role will be a Fixed Term Maternity Leave cover for 12 months.

The Client Services Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating operations of Unisson's shared living sites, delivering a flexible and person-centred approach in all aspects of the service delivery, while ensuring performance improvement, efficiency, and profitability. The Client Services Manager will be creative, flexible and innovative in exploring different ways to help people to grow into their full potential, creating opportunities for the people we support while guiding your team to perform their best within the values of the organisation.

This position will be present across Hornsby locations, with the Head Office in Pymble.

Reporting to the Regional Manager and leading a direct team of Team Leaders as well as Disability Support Workers, the Client Manager will:

  • Lead and work with the Team Leaders to develop and implement effective participation strategies with clients to ensure strong involvement in service planning, delivery and policy matters;
  • Promote a culture of customer service, working closely with the team to build strong relationships with families and other stakeholders to ensure prompt and transparent communication;
  • Contribute to the development of the program's budget, monitoring and allocating resources effectively to comply with legislation obligations
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and General Manager to drive growth, including the identification, acquisition, and implementation of new funding opportunities
  • Proactively build strategic relationships to develop service opportunities, continually working to understand strategic priorities for the service and promote long-term benefits

Role Criteria

  • Previous management experience (minimum 2-3 years)
  • Experience in the Disability Sector
  • Commitment to the values, vision and mission of the organisation including leadership and implementation
  • Sound knowledge of general business practice
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Outstanding planning and organising skills demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others
  • Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
  • An understanding of an adherence to working within personal and professional boundaries in a multicultural environment
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Personal and professional integrity
