Through your team of Client Services Managers, you will be responsible for the delivery of disability services contracts within your allocated region.

WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT?

We are looking for a strategic, proactive and motivated person to join our leadership team, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Shared Living teams based in Hornsby, Central Coast and Hunter regions.

This position is responsible for all aspects of service delivery, planning, budgeting and resourcing the operation of the service, constantly looking for strategies that will ensure and improve performance, efficiency and profitability within the service and in line with Unisson's values and strategic goals. In addition you will:

  • Be accountable to the General Manager - Shared Living for all aspects of the Region's operations, including service user wellbeing and outcomes, people management, external relationships, financial management, operational management, risk management and quality assurance
  • Lead the region to achieve the goals and results contained in Unisson Disability Strategic Plan, the Regional Operating Plan and Regional Budget
  • Ensure that the people we support are empowered and supported to achieve consistently positive outcomes
  • Ensure that all staff & employees enjoy a safe and supportive work environment and are provided with opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Maintain strong relationships with all Unisson Disability stakeholders
  • Play an active, value-adding role on the Unisson Disability Leadership Team
  • Provide input into the development and continuous improvement of Unisson Disability's service policies & procedures and ensure adherence with these policies and procedures throughout the region
  • Provide business development leadership that fosters business growth and optimises revenues across Unisson Disability's portfolio of services
  • Lead your team and communicate by exemplifying Unisson Disability's purpose and values, acting in ways that reflect Unisson Disability's commitment to Person Centred and strengths based practices
  • Drive the development of Unisson Disability in identified growth areas including the identification, acquisition and implementation of new funding opportunities
  • Ensure responses to complaints and incidents are rigorously followed through to a satisfactory resolution

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Enthusiastic about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Leadership Experience minimum 5-8 years (preferably in the Disability Sector)
  • Computer literacy, sound Microsoft suite
  • Sound knowledge of general business practice
  • Personal and professional integrity

All our staff are required to hold a NSW driver's license (P2/full). As we work with vulnerable people, the successful candidate will also be required to undergo an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
