About the Role

Working as part of the Executive team you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and delivery of the Society’s community inclusion and homelessness programs. You will bring your energy and drive, along with your deep understanding of the crisis and long-term needs of vulnerable people, the socio-economic contributors to generational and cyclical poverty, the contributing factors and impacts of homelessness.

Leading specialist teams you will be responsible for the delivery of a broad range of important and critical programs such as Night Patrol, ThreadTogether, Clemente, Compeer, Home Energy, Street to Home, Family & Young Parents Homelessness Services, Blue Door, Samaritan House and other community inclusion programs. Additionally you will be building new partnerships and creating sector leading and initiatives programs.

To be successful in this role you will be known as a proven executive leader in the social sector with an established and credible personal brand. You will have the ability to leverage the continued success of the Society to lead and innovate the development of services for those in need.

You will see this role as more than just a job, bringing your strong understanding of the social issues impacting our community along with established networks across the sector and government. You will have a demonstrated commitment to the values and goals of the Society along with the ability to lead and inspire high performing teams.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in community services/welfare or related field or substantial proven expertise with the community/welfare sector supported by business management/management qualifications or similar.
