To assist in achieving this vision, Swinburne’s Vocational Education team is now inviting applications of interest for VE casual teachers looking to make a real difference in the lives of the next generation of learners.

As a VE Casual Teacher - Allied Health Assistance you will share your experience and knowledge with students to inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century. Working within a passionate team you will assist with the planning, delivery, assess and evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs by implementing industry best practice and applying current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.

This role requires our teachers to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.

About you

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, deliver and review vocational education and training programs, applying innovative learning and assessment methodologies which reflect best practice.
  • Contribute to program evaluation; seeks regular feedback to evaluate own performance and plan for improvements (Teaching: Evaluation)
  • Adapt learning and assessment programs to cater for individual student and client learning needs. (Teaching: Design, Facilitation. Assessment: Assessment theories, Products)
