In our 55th year, Telethon proudly represents the people of Western Australia who have generously donated over $457 million since 1968, to improve the lives of our children.

Due to the growth of Telethon’s fundraising, partners and the beneficiaries we support, we are looking for a senior Operations Dynamo to join our energetic Telethon team.

The Role of Operations Manager:

Reporting to the General Manager of Telethon, your responsibilities will include the:

  • annual planning, scheduling and project management of our exciting program of key events and big campaigns, including the Telethon Weekend
  • operational day to day management of Telethon Trust
  • CRM management and supporting the wider Telethon Trust team
  • development and implementation of operational plans and processes

You are:

  • resilient and a driven multitasker who is able to deliver technically in a fast paced and diverse working environment
  • a natural and effective communicator (both verbal and written) with a highly collaborative style and outstanding stakeholder management skills
  • able to thrive working in a dynamic, deadline driven environment
  • a credible “people person”, comfortable in project managing “big moments” and engaging with your team
  • proactive and a positive self-starter with a can do attitude, willing to work alongside your team
  • systems savvy project manager with at least 5 years recent operational lead and/or manager experience
  • a genuine Telethon advocate, comfortable talking in a group setting and across all levels of seniority

You will have:

  • demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, work autonomously when necessary, all whilst actively contributing to a highly integrated multidisciplinary team
  • proven ability to manage large and varied workloads, with competing priorities
  • exceptional organisational and operational skills, with flexibility and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • proficiencies in MS Suite and Salesforce/CRM
  • experience in NGOs/NFPs; community development organisational roles would also be bonus
