We are a small independently operated, busy service located in Mowbray, who offer care to all children aged between 0-5. We are a family grouped, 30 place service who pride ourselves on our strong family connections and dedication to providing high quality care for children within our community. We strive to promote an environment with a strong sense of community, culture and identity. Learning about Tasmanian Aboriginal culture and engaging in hands on experiences is an important part of our program. The successful applicant would have previously knowledge, or willingness to learn, about Tasmanian Aboriginal culture. Our beautiful outdoor area has been designed to allow children maximum opportunities to develop a love and respect for their natural environment.

We are seeking two highly motivated and passionate people with Cert III or Diploma qualified educator for our service, one on a casual basis, and another on a permanent part-time basis, with hours and days negotiable. Experience and the above qualifications are preferred but considerations will be given to the right candidates if they can meet the criteria for actively working towards completing their qualification.

Essential requirements

• Relevant early childhood qualification or evidence that you are actively working towards one.
• Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate, or ability to obtain one.
• Current WWCC check
• Evidence of being fully COVID vaccinated
• Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
• Current DoFoodSafely online Food Safety Certificate or equivalent, or willingness to obtain
