Tangentyere’s Access to Education Program aims to make a positive difference in the quality of life of Alice Springs Town Camp families by providing high quality, evidence based services and programs that focus on increasing school engagement, educational outcomes and fostering youth development.
The division is responsible for all associated activities undertaken by the Tangentyere Access to Education Program. This is a key leadership role requiring the exercise of a considerable degree of independence; is responsible for managing the team and coordinating complex projects that impact on strategic priorities and operational outcomes of the organisation. The Manager will be responsible for further developing and detailing the program, and for prudent allocation of resources to ensure achievement of strategic and operational results.
The manager will ensure that important strategic relationships with key decision makers from relevant government and non government organisations are built and maintained, along with ensuring that major contracts are negotiated at a senior level with relevant external stakeholders.
The program and service models will work from a strengths-based, community development approach empowering families and working with them towards outcomes of their choice.
