TaskForce has been providing drug treatment services since 1973. Core services focus on addressing social issues of drug related problems, unemployment, mental health and risk taking behaviours, supporting young people, adults and families to transition back into “mainstream” services and supports.
We have a vacancy for a part time (3 days per week) Health Information Officer to develop and improve our health and information systems to support our AOD Clinical programs and other programs as deemed necessary. Following recent implementation of a Client Management System (SRS) the position will be a change agent, focusing on engaging staff in new processes and systems. This will also involve providing support and training to our Clinicians.
You will have a tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Health Information Management or the like, combined with experience or ability to maintain health based information systems and software. Alternatively you may be a Clinician with exceptional data management skills and willingness to learn! Whatever your background, the successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver, with an ability to engage staff in new systems and processes to improve clinical efficiency and data management. This role may suit a candidate that is looking for a role with flexibility and the ability to work some hours from home. Travel will be required to our sites for meetings.
