About the position

TaskForce has an exciting new senior opportunity for a dedicated, passionate and experienced Youth Worker to join the team in Frankston. This full-time role will work closely with our Youth AOD program in bayside. The role will provide outreach support and case management services to young people experiencing issues with alcohol and other drugs. The position will also involve capacity building – providing drop in services to local youth related agencies, participating in case reviews and secondary consultations, and delivering training presentations.

This position will also provide mentoring, leadership and supervision to members of the Youth team in Bayside and additional support as required to Team Leaders and Senior Managers.

About you

You will be a proactive and engaging case manager, with specific drug and alcohol experience. You will also have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Youth, Social Work or Community Welfare and a minimum of 3 years work experience in client service functions;
  • A Certificate IV in AOD;
  • Ability to mentor, lead and provide supervision to less experienced workers.
